How Our Donations are Used
Dear Parents,
Thank you for your continued support and trust in the Chinese Parents Association! This school year, we have donated a total of $20,000 to the school, and these funds have been used entirely to support the needs of both students and teachers. Below is a breakdown of how the funds were allocated:
• $2,000 was used to support various clubs and extracurricular activities organized by the school or the Chinese Parents Association, providing children with more learning opportunities beyond the classroom.
• $2,000 was spent on teaching equipment, such as 3D printers, to help teachers create richer classroom experiences.
• $2,000 was converted into gift cards, enabling teachers to purchase essential classroom supplies like photocopy paper, ensuring that students have the resources they need for learning.
• $14,000 was used to purchase Chromebooks and repair existing computer equipment, providing students with a more robust digital learning environment.
Every dollar of these funds comes from the generosity and support of our parents, and they have all been used directly to enhance the educational experience and growth of our children.
Additionally, during our last meeting, we were excited to elect the next president of the Chinese Parents Association—Natalie Lee. We are confident that under her leadership, the association will continue to collaborate with the school to create a better environment for our children.
Thank you for your contributions and support this year. We look forward to working together again next school year to make the school an even better place for our students!
Wishing you all the best,
Alvin Shih
President, Chinese Parents Association
